Angel’s Apothecary was born from a fighter’s spirit and a healer’s heart...
Raised in a health-conscious home, wellness was always second nature to me. From an early age, I was taught the importance of nourishing the body with good food, staying active and finding peace in simplicity. But even with such a solid foundation, life had much more to teach me.
In 2021, I stepped into the ring as a professional boxer – a journey that pushed my body, mind and spirit to the absolute edge. Despite my commitment to healthy living, I found myself constantly unwell, run-down and emotionally depleted. Training injuries became the norm, and my energy was never at full capacity. It felt like I was doing everything right, and yet it all still felt so wrong.
Determined to find a way to succeed, I began exploring the world of holistic remedies, herbal wellness and non-toxic living. I couldn’t afford the expensive solutions often marketed to athletes and wellness seekers, so I instead dedicated myself to learning how to create my own potions and products. I began crafting all sorts of herbal oils, tinctures, oxymels, salves, skincare, household cleaning products, personal hygiene products, and found non-toxic swaps for everyday items like clothing, linen, toilet paper and more. Everything I crafted came from the wisdom of Mother Earth, a wisdom I think we all feel deep in our spirit, if only we could find a way to reconnect to it.
Not only did I start healing, I started thriving. My mental fog cleared, my injuries for which there were ‘no cure’ began to find relief, and I found myself rarely falling ill and recovering quickly on the odd occasions that I did. I transformed my entire home as well, and for years now, not a single chemical has taken residence there. I even went on to win an Australian professional boxing title (pictured) – a victory I credit just as much to the internal healing as the external training.
From there, a deep calling blossomed within me. I began helping family and friends – creating custom herbal blends for their ailments and spending long nights researching how to heal all sorts of everyday ailments that were typically treated with chemical-based solutions due to convenience, impatience and the influence of modern medicine. In sharing what I had learned and watching others find the very same relief through the Earth that I had, I knew I had to take this further and began planning how to help heal the world on a larger scale.
Angel’s Apothecary is my offering to the world – a bridge between modern life and ancient healing practices.
Through my Instagram (see link in footer), I share free wellness tips, recipes for non-toxic swaps you can easily make yourself at home, and guidance for those who are ready to return to a more natural way of living. Through this online store, I provide access to high-quality, hand crafted, herbal and non-toxic healing products made personally by me, with love. Angel’s Apothecary is for those who want to live better but don’t have the time to make it all from scratch themselves given the fast-paced lifestyle of the modern world.
I believe we all deserve to feel our best, to feel connected to ourselves and to Mother Earth and to honour the sacred vessels that we live in (both our home and our body).
This is wellness, the way Mother Nature intended.
